Nose: Lemon pledge dusting spray, touch of gasoline, umami on the bloody mary side of the side of the meat broth spectrum
Palate: Seared scallops, lemon zest, a surprisingly clean peat, sunflower seeds, sweet grass.
Rating: 5 / 10 – a surprisingly approachable and straightforward ardbeg. Decent but I like more complexity.
