Nose: Toast, fennel, fermented pineapple and mango, processed sugarcane, unrefined palm honey, rum cake, little dash of barnyard. Craft ketchup with an extra dollop of vinegar. Heinz 57 / HP sauce.
Palate: Strong black peach tea, chocolate / chocolate rye, really nice floral note (violets, rose hips, etc.), wheat grass, ocean from a harbor, piloncillo, Latakia tobacco
Rating: 8 / 10 – I love this stuff, more than most people I think. Enough so I asked him for a bottle from each of the four small casks.
